Tours and Visits

Bring your group to participate in a variety of tours, workshops, and seminars on an organization that has a unique response to the child refugee crisis in Israel, and our program for empowering woman in the community.

Sessions are offered in Hebrew, English, and other languages, and include personal encounters with teachers, parents and volunteers.

Unitaf tours offer a chance to study and see with your own eyes the context of the lives of refugee residents in Tel Aviv, and the complexity of the situation for the long-time inhabitants of these neighborhoods.

  • A community challenged:  Visit some of Israel’s best known impoverished neighborhoods that are facing the challenges of absorbing a wave of new residents.  Visit the vibrant local markets, speak to the local community, and meet some of the new residents.  Sessions conclude with a visit to one of the Unitaf Day Care facilities.

  • Study the Unitaf model: This visit focuses on learning our community-based education model. You will visit some of our facilities and learn about our cooperative model with local’s stakeholders, and hear about our unique approach to multicultural early childhood education.

Both tours can be half or full day and can be tailored to meet each group’s unique needs. Tours can include additional Jewish and educational text study.
